
Jennifer Grey was born March 26 in 1960. Her first film role was Reckless (1984) However, she made her big break with Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986). She gained international fame by playing Frances Houseman in the romantic drama film Dirty Dancing (1987), which resulted in a Golden Globe Award nomination. Red Dawn (1984), The Cotton Club (1889), Bloodhounds of Broadway (1989), Redbelt (2008) and Redbelt (2000) were other feature films. Grey's TV work began with Murder in Mississippi (1990), Criminal Justice (1989) and If the Shoe Fits (2019). She also appeared as Kelly Carter in the comedy Red Oaks on Amazon Prime Video. Grey has also done voice work in film as well as on television, starring in the 2018 film Duck Duck Goose and the animated TV series Phineas and Ferb in 2008.
