Charissa Thompson

Thompson was fired from FOX Sports in 2010 and pulled double duty as host of both Versus as well as Yahoo Sports. Thompson hosted Versus' NHL coverage in the studio and produced web videos for Yahoo's highly-trafficked platform. Thompson was the site's presence at major sporting events such as events like the 2010 Winter Olympics and FIFA World Cup. Success in both arenas brought her to join ESPN in August 2011, and she was promoted to one of the hosts for the brand's new evening show "Numbers Never lie." In July 2012 she changed to the wildly popular "SportsNation," enjoying a successful run that lasted until she left ESPN to go back to Los Angeles for the launch of FS1 in May of 2013. Thompson as a sports lover by nature, has proven her flexibility in navigating the entertainment industry. After a series of part-time opportunities, she was named a permanent co-host for the evening edition of Hollywood newspaper "Extra," in June 2014. As such she taped her episodes at Universal Studios while also staffing events like awards and other public events on a regular basis. Charissa Charissa Charissa
