Kari Samantha (born on April 28, 1967) Wuhrer is an American actress and performer. Wuhrer began her career as a teenager. She is known for her roles as Maggie Beckett in the television series Sliders and as the Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), a payroll accountant, and German American Andrew Wuhrer, who was a police officer as well as a automobile salesman. She has three sisters and brothers. When she was young she sang in nightclubs, and then went on to sing. Kari Wuhrer, born in 1967 was an American model, performer and actor. Kari began acting at the Wooster School aged 13 and then went further to pursue a degree in drama at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Columbia University Marymount Manhattan College as well the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art under the famous Uta Hagen. Kari was introduced to acting when she was 13 and got her breakthrough in 1987, when she was featured on MTV Remote Control.
