Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker. Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology student. Her father is Argentine and Scottish English heritage. Her mother is of Spanish and English ancestry. Taylor-Joy has five siblings four from her father's prior marriage. Buenos Aires was her home until she turned six, after which the family relocated to Victoria in London. Taylor-Joy claims that the move into London was difficult and that she was unable to take the time to learn English in order to prevent returning to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she needed to go to following her departure from Northlands. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School to study ballet and act in productions of the school. In her 16th year she left the school to pursue a profession as an actress full-time. At a very young age, Taylor-Joy knew that she wanted to work as an actress. her dream came true when she was offered an opportunity to model by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
